L ấy 1 cái nồi sạch rồi bạn cho 1 lon nước cốt dừa, 120g đường, 2g muối, 70g mạch nha vào nồi, bật bếp nấu lửa trung bình, cứ nấu như vậy cho đến khi nước đường bốc hơi bớt, cạn dần và phải khuấy liên tục, lúc này bạn vặn lửa nhỏ 1 chút. Đặt dụng cụ đo nhiệt vào nồi, nấu đến khi 125 độ C là tắt bếp, nếu không có dụng cụ đo nhiệt bạn có thể dùng mắt thường để chuẩn đoán, có nghĩa là nấu kẹo đến khi sánh đặc lại là được.
Khi kẹo đã được thì nhanh tay cho bơ vào khuấy đều rồi đổ kẹo ra khuôn đã lót sẵn giấy nến, chờ cho kẹo nguội bớt. Khi kẹo còn hơi ấm là bạn cho lên thớt, bôi 1 chút dầu lên dao để chống dính rồi cắt kẹo thành từng cái hình vuông vừa nhỏ, cho kẹo vào hộp kín bảo quản nơi thoáng mát dùng dần.
